Our Programmes

Our academic portfolio started in 1992 when we launched our Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) in face-to-face format in Barbados. As the demand for our programme grew, we extended our reach and offered the EMBA programme in Antigua and Barbuda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize and the British Virgin Islands. Today, we offer over forty (40) courses at the MBA level in three (3) concentrations.

We commenced our Executive Diploma in Management (EDM) programme in 1996 in Barbados, and then subsequently offered it across the OECS, Tortola and Belize. We currently offer over sixty (60) courses at the Diploma level in several concentrations. New to our suite of EDM programmes is the Insurance Management Stream which begins in December 2010.

In 2005 the International Masters in Business Administration (IMBA) programme was launched in Belize in a face-to-face format, and in 2006 it was migrated to the Online and Distance Learning format.

The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programme is academically equivalent to the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD). It is being offered jointly by the three business schools of the University of the West Indies (UWI). Classes commenced in January 2008 at the Cave Hill School of Business.

In addition to our four academic programmes we also offer individual courses throughout the year across the region in face-to-face format and online.

The Cave Hill School of Business is aware of the diverse interests and backgrounds that enrich education. With this in view, the business school has found it necessary to offer its high quality programmes in the Online and Distance Learning (ODL) modality to extend the opportunity of superb training for professionals everywhere. This forum provides in addition to great knowledge gain, endless networking opportunities as participants from accross the region and further a field interact in a common space.

The Masters in International Event Management (MIEM) is the response to demand for higher level education and training in the planning and management of events that have lasting impact on regional economy and environment.

The combined IMBA-CMA Program, offered jointly by CMA and the prestigious Cave Hill School of Business - UWI, is designed to combine the accounting expertise and professional skills of the CMA designation with the broad business skills of the International Masters of Business Administration (IMBA) degree – thus creating a combined skill set for an exceptional career path.
