The First Citizens-sponsored Dare to Dream Business Idea Competition culminated on April 8, 2015 at The Cave Hill School of Business/UWI conference facility. The competition was launched during Entrepreneurship week in November 2014, targeting nascent young entrepreneurs between the ages of 16-21 years who desired an opportunity to develop and share a business idea or concept. Borne of the collaboration between The Cave Hill School of Business and First Citizens, the competition resulted in proposals from five innovative business concepts being presented to a panel of three judges.
Following an interesting and stimulating presentation segment, the panel deliberated and the winners were announced. Mr. Adam Gibbs captured the first prize of BDS $5000.00, Ms. Christiane Tull won the second prize of BDS$3000.00 and the third prize of BDS$2000.00 was awarded to group members Richard Coggins, Christina Phillips and Michael Mayers.
