Through research CHPSI seeks to encourage public sector agencies to recognise the importance of research to their success and as a tool to support their development. Research interventions are designed to assist organizations in utilising the findings to improve the quality, relevance, and applicability of the modernising of their daily business operations.
In conjunction with other Research Units of the University of the West Indies, CHPSI will offer research services in the following areas:

- Market Research
- Case Studies
- Informational Research
With time, CHPSI will strive to publish a body of knowledge that collectively features the best public sector business practices in the Caribbean region.
