Through the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship the CHSB intends to create a vibrant entrepreneurship culture in the Caribbean and promote a more innovative type of entrepreneur by changing the thinking and mindset of the emerging generation of entrepreneurs. The Centre will therefore focus on the study and promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation by engaging in the following activities:

The research at the Centre ultimately aims to bring to light those factors that support and contribute to the growth and success of entrepreneurs in the Caribbean. Their role as potential drivers of growth, innovation and job creation in the knowledge economy will be examined, and the Centre will make its contribution by seeking to determine those factors that affect the ability of an entrepreneur to innovate.
