CHSB Kickstarts Silver Anniversary with Public Lecture

The Cave Hill School of Business Inc.-The University of the West Indies (CHSB-UWI) is celebrating twenty-five years of providing thought leadership in the development of managers and organizations in the private and public sectors. CHSB has contributed to the growth of organizations and individuals in Barbados, the OECS and the wider Caribbean, through its suite of academic programmes, executive development initiatives, applied research and consulting projects. In commemoration of its silver anniversary, CHSB will host a lecture entitled “The Economics of Leadership: Keys for 21st Century Leaders” on April 7th, 2016 at the CHSB Conference facility. The event will feature Mr Timothy Antoine – newly appointed Governor, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). 

Mr Antoine is an economist and development specialist with over two decades of experience in the financial sectors of the Caribbean and the United States. Mr Antoine holds an MSc Degree in Social Policy and Planning in Development Countries from the London School of Economics and a BSc Degree in Economics with Management from the University of the West Indies. He has also received training from the Small Countries Financial Management Centre in the Isle of Man and training in Negotiations at the Said International School of Business, Oxford University. He also has a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). Drawing from his vast expertise, Mr Antoine’s presentation will address economic issues and trends of which leaders within the Caribbean should be aware to ensure enhanced organisational and professional growth. The lecture will be the premier event of the commemoration of CHSB’s silver anniversary activities for the year.
