End of an Era, Vibrant SCHSBM leader retires

After 22 years at the helm of the recently renamed Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management Dr. Jeannine Comma is heading into retirement. 

Under her stewardship, CHSB moved from a fledgling USAID funded entity, the Centre for Management Development into the financially sustainable Cave Hill School of Business, now the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management. 

The School has developed a reputation as a centre of excellence in the forefront of business education, successfully equipping over 3,000 regional managers and executives with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve their professional goals. She played a pivotal role in developing the School in its formative years and crafting its strategic positioning as it moves forward into the 21st century. Dr Comma is heartened by the growth of the organization Over the last 22 years and has nothing but positive expectations to see that growth continue. 

Dr. Comma is a graduate of the George Washington University in Washington D.C. and of the University of the Virgin Islands. She has worked extensively, utilizing experiential and interactive learning approaches aimed at ensuring alignment of strategy and performance outputs. An accomplished Learning and Organizational Development professional, her wide-ranging experience has allowed her to share her expertise with a range of people and organizations in the Caribbean and internationally spanning both the private and public sectors. She has conducted training programmes and speaking engagements at conferences in Singapore, Delhi, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, England, USA, Canada and the wider Caribbean region.
