The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management – UWI is proud to announce its partnership with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
On Tuesday 8th September 2020 a MOU was signed by both institutions to develop and retool human capital across the region. This partnership allows for the broadening of both institutions’ reach to the upwardly mobile professionals. SCHSBM has been the regional leader in online learning for more than a decade and a half. It offers a suite of flexible online programmes (Executive Diplomas, Executive Master, Masters’ programmes, Doctorate in Business Administration) and short courses designed to address key strategic needs of organisations and a growing focus on career advancement by professionals who want to upskill and remain employed. These programmes are relevant and dynamic, with a combination of the latest academic theory and practical application that give individuals an edge to immediately apply new skills to enhance their personal and professional lives.
Director of the SVGCC, Nigel Scott, in embracing this latest initiative stated “Our partnership with the region’s premiere University goes back many years and it is one that we treasure. On this occasion, it gives me much pleasure to partner with the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management to provide additional opportunities for Vincentians. As we continue the task of providing training for all nationals, we look forward to a long and productive partnership with The UWI in general and The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management in particular”.
Partnering institution’s Executive Director & CEO (Ag.) Prof. C. Justin Robinson labelled the partnership as a bold move in greater serving the region. He remarked “Fine universities don’t exist to serve themselves but to serve their communities. The launch of this MOU between The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management (SCHSBM) and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) represents a bold move to serve the people of the Eastern Caribbean by providing easier access to a wide range of academic programs at the tertiary. SCHSBM is proud to be able to better serve the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
