Executive Masters in Public Sector Management

The Governance & Institutional Development Division (GIDD) of the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC) recognised a need in the Caribbean for Public Sector Managers to be trained in effective management principles. Consequently, they invited the CHSB to enter a collaborative relationship to design, develop and conduct an Executive MBA with a concentration in Public Sector Management.

Consequently, they invited the CHSB to enter a collaborative relationship to design, develop and conduct an Executive MBA with a concentration in Public Sector Management.

This two-year programme focuses on providing Caribbean-relevant training in a previously neglected area. With many of the governments throughout the region reforming their public service, this programme offers the opportunity to have those who will be leading the change initiatives with skills that will be needed in the new operating cultures that are being developed.

This programme is designed for senior and potential managers in the public service (Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Departments/Organisations/Institutions and or their Deputies).

Duration

Participants must  be from a Commonwealth Caribbean country and willing to commit themselves to the rigorous and flexible two-year programme for their personal development as managers.
