The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management Inc. -The University of the West Indies (SCHSBM) is renowned for its flexibility in designing programmes to meet the specific needs of its clients.
We have worked with organisations in the private and public sectors in Barbados, the OECS and the wider region to design short term and long term programmes that help them to develop the knowledge and skills of their executives, middle management and front line employees. We have also engaged in consulting initiatives that help organisations to plan strategically or manage their transformation efforts.
Organisations can contact the SCHSBM team to have a programme designed based on the identified competencies they wish to build or the objectives which they wish to achieve. The SCHSBM’s flexibility also means that a client can have a programme designed to be delivered according to their employees’ availability, i.e. full day or half day format, consecutive days or over weeks, as well as the time of year and duration.
In recent years, SCHSBM has been working with organisations to help them design programmes that meet the requirements of the Technical Vocational Educational and Training (TVET) Council. This has allowed the companies to be approved to have their training costs partially supported by funds from TVET.
