The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management Inc.-The University of the West Indies (SCHSBM) is renowned for its flexibility in adapting its programmes to meet the specific needs of organizations in the private and public sectors in Barbados, the OECS and the wider region. Organizations can refer to our extensive list of open enrollment programmes and contact the SCHSBM team to have any programme customized to cater to specific organizational requirements.
Alternatively the organization can request an entirely different programme that will address identified areas for improvement in their company. This process of customization normally includes an initial discussion to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the issues confronting the organization.
In recent years, SCHSBM has been working with organizations to help them design programmes that meet the requirements of the Technical Vocational Educational and Training (TVET) Council. This has allowed the companies to be approved to have their training costs partially supported by funds from TVET.
The SCHSBM’s flexibility in this regard means that a client can also request the programme to be delivered according to their employees’ availability. To this end, the client has input into the length of the programme, format of delivery (full day or half day) and topics areas deemed necessary as well as the preferred dates and times.
